Faith communities were recognised in their contribution to ending the suffering of sexual violence at the recent Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict, which was convened in London. Now church leaders look to build on the outcomes from the Summit and take forward commitments in the prevention and response to sexual violence in conflict.

Earlier this year Janet Sarker, the Education Coordinator for the Church of Bangladesh, took part in the Anglican Alliance’s Commonwealth Professional Fellowship Scheme for women leader’s in education.
