Our vision
The Anglican Alliance exists to connect, equip and inspire the worldwide Anglican family to work for a world free of poverty and injustice and to safeguard creation.
Our vision is based in the mission of Jesus, who said he had come “to bring good news to the poor and freedom to the oppressed” (Luke 4:18) and “that they may have life, life in all its fullness” (John 10:10). Jesus told his followers to pray for God’s kingdom to come and will to be done on earth, as in heaven.
We believe the Gospel continues to have transformational power. We believe that the mission of the Church is the mission of Christ, and see this reflected in the Anglican Marks of Mission.
In everything we do, we seek to be “midwives of hope” as we pursue a Kingdom vision that is about good news for the poor, abundant life for all and a flourishing planet.

We tackle our ambitious agenda in several interconnected ways, determined through global and regional consultations.
