Anglican churches and agencies are at the forefront of relief work, working together to meet the needs of people affected by natural disasters and conflict.

Alongside Hope (formerly The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund) is the Anglican Church of Canada’s agency for sustainable development and relief.

With the support of Anglicans across Canada, Alongside Hope partners with organizations working to increase healthy pregnancies and births, reduce gender inequality, relieve hunger and break the cycle of poverty in the world’s most vulnerable communities. Against a backdrop of climate change, Alongside Hope strives to address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.

Anglican Board of Mission‘s Anglicans in Development (AID) is an overseas relief and development agency of the Anglican Church of Australia.

ABM and AID want to see people everywhere experience the wholeness of life God offers in Jesus Christ, and supports partners as they participate in God’s mission.

Anglican Missions represents the Anglican Church in Aotearoa New Zealand and Polynesia.

It is a Catalyst for mission where funds are raised and allocated according to the 5 Marks of Mission; a Coordinator where it facilitates a joined-up and collaborative approach to mission action; and a Champion for mission through telling good stories.

Anglican Overseas Aid is an overseas relief and development agency of the Anglican Church of Australia.

Their work is inspired by the gospel of Christ, with a vision for a peaceful, just and sustainable world for all.

Episcopal Relief & Development is an international relief and development agency responding compassionately to human suffering on behalf of The Episcopal Church.

Working with church partners and other local organisations worldwide, they rebuild after disasters and empower people to create lasting solutions that fight poverty, hunger and disease.

Five Talents works through the Anglican Church to offer Savings Groups, literacy training, numeracy training and business skills training for communities in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Burundi, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Bolivia and Myanmar. Born out of the Lambeth Conference 1998, Five Talents has worked with over 260,000 families. By enabling Group members to learn, earn, save and invest together, our programmes build community cohesion, resilience and sustainability as members use their own resources to address the challenges they face.

Mothers’ Union is an organisation of over four million members working within their own local communities in 83 countries to promote stable marriages, family life and the protection of children through praying, enabling and campaigning.

For over 300 years the London-based charity USPG has been sharing God’s love through action, and seeing lives transformed.

Their programmes have a deep impact because they are run by local Anglican churches that are embedded in the communities they serve around the world.
