Re-imagining Our World Together
Re-imagining Our World Together is a set of Contextual Bible Studies which seek to set up a conversation between the Anglican Marks of Mission and the Sustainable Development Goals. They aim to help Anglicans throughout the Communion explore both – always through a deep engagement with Scripture and always rooted in the lived reality of the participants. The Bible studies were developed by the Anglican Alliance at the request of the Anglican Primates and written by a group of theologians and development practitioners from across the world. Climate Justice: the role of the Church in protecting and restoring God’s creation
A four-part video Bible study resource from Anglican Overseas Aid, featuring Jo Knight of Anglican Overseas Aid (Australia) and Rachel Mash, Environment Coordinator for the Anglican Church of South Africa. There are four brief videos with resource questions, which you can find here.

Faith in the Time of Covid-19
Faith in the Time of Covid-19 is a set of Bible studies which was developed by the Anglican Alliance in consultation with a small group of biblical scholars, theologians and church leaders as a resource to help Christians reflect on their faith and scriptures during the pandemic. However, they can still be used in any troubling time by substituting the references to Covid-19 by whatever difficult situation is facing you and your community.
The Bible studies seek to create space for us to bring our hopes and fears before God and build resilience and trust. They allow us to lament all that brings sorrow and suffering and to reflect on how we can support those most impacted by the crisis. Above all, the Bible studies seek to help us to find hope, in reflecting on God’s presence and love, and how God shares our sorrow and suffering and brings assurance of new life
Part 1 of Faith in the Time of COVID-19 contains five Bible studies:
- Do not be afraid: Romans 8:38-39
- Calming the storm: Mark 4:35-41
- Building hope: Hebrews 6:10-11
- Hope rooted in God: Isaiah 41:10 and 43:1-2
- Your Kingdom come: Matthew 6:9-13
A further 3 Bible studies have now been written. Beautifully illustrated by Bill Crooks, part 2 of Faith in the Time of COVID-19 contains:
6. Living in isolation: 1 Kings 16:29 – 18:1. This Bible study is in four parts:
xxxxxi) from loneliness to solitude
xxxxxii) living in the same household together;
xxxxxiii) living with challenge;
xxxxxiv) emerging changed.
7. Turning fear to love: Luke 10: 30-37.
8. What is God showing us about his kingdom? Matthew 5: 1-12.

Preaching
Preaching for God’s World provides weekly sermon notes written by Anglicans across the Communion, which explore the set lectionary readings through the lens of caring for God’s creation.
