To empower women and men to provide literacy and numeracy skills
Activity
We have circles in which a facilitator is trained in how they can assist the learners to read , write and also be able to do some basic calculations.
We meet in community centre, church centre. 108 facilitators and groups.
Set up in 2004.
Up to 30 people per group
Outcomes
So far we have over 8,000 learners who have gone through the process and some have been accredited/graduated as proficient in literacy and numeracy. From there some have been employed in shops, community activity.
