Advent Hope in the Midst of the Covid-19 pandemic

8 December 2020

“The suffering and anxiety caused by Covid-19 and its control measures are immense – and yet, as we come into this Advent season, the Anglican Alliance continues to hear from across the Anglican Communion of churches sustaining hope in their support to the most vulnerable. This Advent we are called to reflect on our global interdependence and how we can be good news to one another across the world in this time of pandemic.” Revd Canon Rachel Carnegie, the Executive Director of the Anglican Alliance.

This short video shares some of those points of light from across the Communion that we hear about daily at the Anglican Alliance. It shows how churches across the world are responding to the Covid-19 pandemic and reflects on the great Advent theme of light in darkness.

We hope it will provide encouragement and hope at this profoundly difficult time.
