Young people top agenda at Pacific consultation

30 August 2011

A paper written by a young Solomon Islander spells out the challenges of growing up on a remote island in the South Pacific. The consultation will consider how the Alliance can help young people across the Communion share their experiences.

Along with youth empowerment, the consultation will look at food security, climate change and economic empowerment. The event is being co-hosted by the Anglican Alliance and the Anglican Church of Melanesia.

Starting on September 4th, it will be the second regional consultations being held by the Anglican Alliance. The round of consultations to draw up the development, relief and advocacy priorities for the Alliance concludes in Hong Kong in November.
