The report outlines the region’s plans, which include exploring the possibility of setting up a regional fund and advocacy on food security and climate change. The region will also work with friends and partners in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean on addressing the issues of youth empowerment and peace and reconciliation.
The consultation, which set the agenda for the Pacific region over the coming years, resolved to create a wide and representative regional steering committee and hire a paid facilitator to take work forward.
