It’s preparing a bid for people with at least five years experience of running church education services to spend two months looking at models of education in the UK.
And the scheme is open for people to apply for fellowships. The scheme and its applicants will be considered for funding by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in September. If the scheme is approved, the course will start in January 2012.
Under the scheme, four education administrators would spend time looking at different aspects of education in the UK with local education authorities, diocesan education departments, curriculum specialists and an educational think tank. They would be supported by a professional facilitator.
