Ecumenical Youth Network in Brazil are meeting on Climate Justice

In São Paulo, Brazil Young people from different parts of Brazil are gathered. The objective of the meeting is to share experiences on upholding Youth’s Rights and evaluate the actions done by the Network during the year of 2012 and set plans for 2013. It’s also a space for capacity building on public policies and narrows the priorities for the next period.

The theme of the meeting is Advocacy and Guarantee of Rights, focussing on youth.

The agenda covers moment with panels on the context of young people; presentations of Advocacy and Guarantee of Rights; round tables on Gender Equity, socio-environmental justice, LGBT’s rights, youth killing and violence and religious intolerance and the role of young leaders on that matter.

Organizations like CESE (Ecumenical Coordination of Service), Lutheran Foundation of Diakonia Ecumenical Forum ACT Brazil, Latin America Council of Churches and Koinonia are some of the partners together supporting the meeting.
