Kolkata (Calcutta) Diocese is one of the oldest dioceses in the Church of North India (CNI). The diocese, along with its spiritual activities through 35 churches/parishes, has many social activities including education, health, community development, women empowerment, youth and children development and so on. The pastors play very dynamic roles as animators to improve the deprived community people at large.
