Welcome to All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi. The Social Outreach Ministry (SOM) of All Saints’ Cathedral was started in 1991 in partnership with the Church Mission Society Ireland. It was set up with the objective of supporting 350 families, who had lost their homes in slum demolitions (Muoroto / Kibagare) in central Nairobi and were being resettled in Kayole, in the eastern outskirts of the city. We are still working with these families today where our work includes; a feeding programme for the nursery school, income generating projects, housing improvements, provision of a healthcare worker and help through agricultural crisis.
