Archbishop of Central Africa becomes chair of Anglican Alliance board of Trustees

The trustees whose appointments were approved by the Anglican Consultative Council’s standing committee brought together all parts of the Communion, and all areas of expertise in development, relief and advocacy.

They agreed the programme for taking forward the Anglican Alliance’s global mission, building on the first three year pilot phase to build the Church’s capacity in tackling poverty and injustice.

Robert Radtke – President, Episcopal Relief and Development

Revd John Deane – Executive Director, Anglican Board of Mission

Adele Finney – Executive Director, Primates World Relief and Development Fund

Dorothea Hodge – Church of England

Canon Grace Kaiso – Council of Anglican Provinces of Africa

Canon Dr Kenneth Kearon – Anglican Communion Office

George Kiriau – Anglican Church of Melanesia

Delene Mark  –  Executive Director of Hope Africa

Most Revd Humphrey Peters – Bishop of Peshawar

Chris Smith – Chief of Staff, Lambeth Palace

Revd John Deane has been appointed by the board as the Chair of the Anglican Alliance Advisory Council, a wider consultative group.

The Board met for three days at St Stephens House in Oxford, followed by a meeting of the staff team.
