THE ANGLICAN ALLIANCE BRINGS TOGETHER THOSE IN THE ANGLICAN FAMILY OF CHURCHES AND AGENCIES TO WORK FOR A WORLD FREE OF POVERTY AND INJUSTICE, TO BE A VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS, TO RECONCILE THOSE IN CONFLICT, AND TO SAFEGUARD THE EARTH.

Local advocacy

All over the world the Church speaks out against poverty and injustice in the local community.

Sometimes it's Church leaders bringing the world's attention to the scandal of poverty in a world of plenty. Like the walk of witness through the centre of London by Anglican bishops at the Lambeth conference.

Marching children

Or it can be Archbishop of Burundi, the Most Revd Bernard Ntahoturi speaking out in the UK Parliament against a decision to cut development funding for his country. You can see him giving his evidence to the MPs by clicking on the link right.

Or it can be the witness of children, marching against exploitation in Zambia. They're protesting against children being used as cheap labour in quarries instead of being able to go to school.

If you are speaking out about an injustice in your community, please let us know.
